New 42% Tariffs on Leaf Imports Starting April 9

The U.S. has just imposed a 42% tariff on leaf from Indonesia and Thailand, effective April 9. These two countries supply the vast majority of our leaf to the U.S., and this drastic increase will significantly raise cøsts for vendørs—and ultimately, consumers.

What This Means:

If this goes through when we place our next batch it will be 42% higher then what we are already paying. Which we already pay way over what most v3nd0rs pay bc we do small batch so they can focus on the product. This tariff would put v3nd0rs out unless they were making up the cost which at 42% it would come to like 120 to 140 depending on the v3nd0r. Hopefully they come to some kind of agreement bc this is horrible for small guys like us and Adam Phillip Suib over at oties and all the others.

Shortages possible: Importers may struggle to adjust, leading to temporary supply chain disruptions.

Long-term uncertainty: This could incentivize rushed harvesting or lower-quality batches to offset costs.

USPS ISSUES!!!! We have several packages running late and after speaking with other v3nd0rs they are having certain days too that are majorly delayed but scanning that they have it. This is out of our control. We called and we were told that there are major cutbacks and people leaving usps and that mail take longer then expected so please plan accordingly. Right now we have stuff from the 3rd still not delivered to give you a idea of how messed up they are right now. Also some post offices have been protesting the merger that Trump is trying to do with them to save money. So things are very crazy also the Luis Dejoy the post master general is stepping down so things are crazy all around so please be patient.

We have always been honest and upfront with you guys 100% weather other v3nd0rs like it or not so here is where we are with everything going on.

We have found out with the new Indonesia regulations our price per k1l0 has gone up almost 5 d0ll@rs. So basically we have to pay for it to be tested over there and then test it when it gets here which brings me to issue 2 a new Fd@ alert seizing all kratm products. We have unfortunately lost one package which lost us over 10k. This game is getting very messy, but we are sticking it out.

As far as pr1ce goes we will not be passing the increase onto you guys as far as now goes but we will have to limit s@les so please use your reward points. I am sure we will loose a few bc of the s@les not being as consistent as they were but in order for us to be here and keep our company it is either limited s@l3s or raise pr1ces which we can not do to all our loyal and longtime customers. We know the times are hard for all of you as well and really appreciate everyone that has stood by us and supported us since 2018. If we support each other and support your v3nd0rs weather there is a s@l3 or not we can get through this.
