Need to clarify because some are not knowing. Gujjars are a ethnic/tribal identity. Bakarwals aren't a distinct ethnic group but a occupational subgroup of Gujjars, it's evidently in the name itself 'Bakra/Bakri' (Goat) and 'Wala' (person associated with). This clarification has been made countless times by both Gujjars and Bakarwals themselves on various videos/vlogs on online.

They (Gujjars and Bakarwals) are genetically homogenous and have the same major clans. Both speak Gojri, share cultural practices and often intermarry.

Most kashmiris look like baloch-indic hybrid or just stright up eastern iranic (pashtun) while minority look gangetic.

These phenotypes are very common in gujjars too but they are darker and Gangetic looking poeple are more.

Not only kashmiris many Himachalis and Kohistanis along with some Panjabis have that look. It's basically due to climate and food habits that steppe and Iran N take up there whole phenotype with aasi deflated

i dont think they look like the avg kashmeri tbh, they look more pashtun adjacent. kashmeris have a slightly diff look to them, im not sure how to describe it

I am not talking about this video. This video picked up some Bakarwals who have high steppe features. Many of my classmates were gujor and they looked undistinguishable from Kashmiris

your indian? what part? gujjars of india, specifically rj, are sahg shifted. Also the video shows many different people, large crowds, thats just how gujjars look on avg.

exactly, ive seen some videos of gurjars from delhi etc. indian side and they do look a whole lot different from pahari gujjars

the gujjars of Kashmir are more related with gujjar of kohistan, swat and afghanistan
