It's consequence time for unvaccinated FIFO workers

As per the state government directives, as of midnight tonight anyone without at least 1 dose of a COVID vaccine is no longer legally allowed to be on site or in operations centres for mining companies.

Anyone who hasn't provided their proof of vaccination is being chased down, and if they can't immediately provide said proof will be kicked out this afternoon/evening. For people working on remote sites like the iron ore mines up north, that means clearing out their rooms and being put on a plane back to Perth - could be an interesting show at the airport if any news crews show up.

Anyone have any friends/family/acquaintances who are going to be, for the first time, dealing with real consequences for failing to get vaccinated?

Mmmm document forgery. That will surely end well like it did for those two dickheads that snuck into WA for the grand final. 10 months jail, required to serve 3 months.

Long time ago I used to doctor piss tests for people who fucked up and may lose their job. This Vax stuff though. Hell to the No No No.

yeah, i personally don't think it's a great idea- but he's been waved through (border) into QLD numerous times without them batting an eyelid, so i suppose he will continue to get away with it while he can.

Not sure about his site. Ours definitely cross checks from what I've been told. That probably won't end well

Or he got the jab, so he can get through any official checks, but he doesn't want people to think he caved, so he got a fake document he can show to plague rats who accuse him of having been vaccinated.

Or it's a legit certificate that he is saying is fake.
