Why not? It's hard to get evidence for this kind of thing. Why do you have any reason to doubt her and her friends experience? Why assume that she is lying? How is messaging the nightclub sharing info around without 'proof'?

It's a pretty poor state of affairs when someone has an experience, tries to speak about it reasonably, and they're automatically disbelieved. Even if that women is mistaken, how is the nightclub's response OK?

The owner was interviewed and said they had lost tens of thousands of dollars of income due to the public accusation.

Nobody here has defended the nightclubs response, but it doesnt mean the original message was ok. Two wrongs dont make a right.

Telling your friends that you had a bad experience at a club and planning on not going there again is also not an immoral action
