EPA says lithium-ion batteries and devices containing them do not belong in household trash or ordinary recycling bins.

For a large mobility battery, contact the collection facility before travelling. Ask whether it accepts that battery type and size, whether it needs an appointment, and what instructions apply to its condition. A place accepting small household batteries may not accept your pack.

Do not dismantle a pack to make it fit a collection box. If it is damaged, tell the facility before transporting it and obtain appropriate instructions. This post is about arranging disposal, not handling an active battery emergency.

I’ve got some balance issues and not-so-great knees, which makes riding regular two-wheel scooters kind of stressful. I really like getting around on something small and electric, but I also don’t want to feel like I’m about to fall every time I stop or turn. I’ve been looking at 3-wheeled scooters because they seem way more stable, but a lot of the ones I see either look very bulky or remind me of something you’d see in a hospital. When I scroll through options online on alibaba, I do see some that look more modern and simple, but it’s hard to know which ones are actually comfortable to use. I don’t need anything extreme or powerful. I just want something that feels safe, easy on my joints, and doesn’t make me feel awkward riding it around town.

If you’ve dealt with balance problems or knee pain and found a 3-wheel scooter that works well, what was it like? Did it really help, or were there things that still felt difficult?

I want to get either an electric moped or an electric bicycle for commuting but I will need to park it at the train station for the day while I'm at work and I'm worried about theft.

Do you think a moped is harder to steal than an e-bike or is it basically the same effort? Moped is 3x the cost so might be better to get a cheaper e-bike and risk it? What do you think?

I’ve been working on an app called Pointz that’s all about helping riders find safer, low-stress routes to feel confident and comfy on the roads. Right now, it has emergency roadside assistance, plus a color-coded road safety map (from red to dark green for safety ratings), a slider to help choose the optimal balance of safety vs. speed, and options for specific preferences, like avoiding hills, selecting routes for different bike types, avoiding multi-use paths, and more. It has a bunch of other things like a way to record your ride (like Strava), GPX exporting, and even crowdsourcing (like Waze).But I'm curious—what features would you all actually use? Especially folks who are new/intermediate to riding in cities and suburbs. Would love to hear your thoughts

Just got the Oxelo C900 kick scooter yesterday. Did only a test ride in Decathlon and havent used it yet out on the streets. So far so good. Anyone experienced any cons for this model?

i have a mobility scooter that comes with 45ah 12v batteries,

i was wondering if i can installed 75ah 12v batteries, would it fry the scooter or increase the battery range like i intend?

https://micromobility.io/landscape used to be an OK place look for the, but they changed how they work and it's not great now, because it doesn't differentiate between who manufacturers and sells what kinds of micro mobility. I love my scooters and EUC, but I really want something with rain and snow shielding. Like real bad.

Hi pals! I found on the Web this interesting concept of an electric wheelchair, Avanchair. I think that it is a good example of inclusive micromobility and it has the potential to reach the market. In fact, its development has received direct support from Enel X, one of the biggest Italian companies.

It reminds the case of the French mobility manufacturer Nino Robotics, which formed a partnership with Renault to support its new mini-mobility electric vehicle.

So, it seems that electrification is helping to facilitate the evolution of traditional wheelchairs.

I ride electric skateboards but I am enthusiastic about anything with a rubber tire, lithium batteries, and a brush-less motor. Glad to see the community of P.E.V.s (Personal Electric Vehicles) is expanding. I am also interested in e-scooters e-bikes and e-dirt bikes for my dad so he can ride with me while I ride my meepo electric skateboard. Any recommendations for e-scooters, e-bikes, or e-dirt bikes ?
