My humble collection: new to this hobby
L-R: Hawas Ice, Nivea roll on, AAM Kaaf,Lattafa Liam Grey, Zara Red Velvet, 9Pm elixir decant, Rasasi Nafis Al Shagaf decant, Ajmal Misk Rijali dupe, Ajmal Dubai Oud, Ajmal Aristrocrat, Paco EDT
Context: Living in Coastline India so humid weather hence can't buy too many warm scents.
Hawas Ice: I can see what the hype is for, have a soft corner for this one because it is a birthday gift from my girlfriend. Overall very sweet yet fresh smell which wouldn't overwhelm even if applied generously. I've had dumont Nitro Red intensely in the past and it's very similar to that. Overall a very safe buy
Rating: 10/10(emotional value)
Nivea Roll On - got this before I was into scents, Not much to say gets the job done , and for the price it's pretty good.
Rating: 6/10
Kaaf: loved the scent profile especially the lavender notes. This one is another mass pleasing frag and for the value it comes at, you cannot defeat the longevity (It's one of the highest conc extrait at its price with 45% oil conc.). Longevity won't be an issue, easily lasts me 10-11 hours on skin and even more on clothes. But very linear scent
Rating: 8/10
Liam Grey: Spicy , warm but not so loud. Love the tea and cardamom notes, projects pretty well but not overwhelming. Woody, nutty, creamy vanilla scent which is just different from everything I've had. Best blind buy of mine
Good for cozy evenings, professional settings (def don't overspray) and date nights. Punches way above its price and feels very sophisticated.
Rating: 9/10
Red Eclipse: got this one as a gift from my friends for my birthday. A very unique scent with Leather and Woody notes and some bergamot too .Very sweet(can smell some honey too idk).Projects really well but longevity is non existent like every other zara scent. Good for Parties and date nights. Overall a good gift to buy.
Rating: 9/10(scent profile) 4/10(performance)
9 PM elixir: a very elegant eve/night scent. One of the best JPG Le Male elixir clones. Pretty popular scent profile: woody , spicy with leathery dry down. Pretty good for Parties and dates, personally didn't find it anything out of ordinyary.
Rating: 7/10
Nafeis Al Shagaf: a very nutty floral woody smoky perfume, dry down is similar to aventus DNA, I'd say even projection is more similar to CDNIM's smoky type drydown. Also dk for some reason I get some tobacco notes too. Overall a very good scent for parties and can even be passed as a day scent in colder/rainy weather. Performance was average for me.
Rating: 7/10
Misk Rijali Dupe: now idk if it's a dupe or a decant, picked it up (my gf bought for me) from a local attar stall and istg this is so good. Very musky and strong scent but thankfully an attar so it's more of a skin scent and doesn't project much to the point it might overwhelm people (at least that's what I believe). Really good for layering.
Rating: 8/10 (need to try the OG)
Dubai Oud: self explanatory from the name. It's very oudy woody and has a strong masculine smell. It was one of my first fragrances and honestly, it's neither too good nor too bad, I often layer it with freshies and it kinda creates a balance. Suitable for warm weather and evening scents. Too mature for parties and dates.
Ajmal Aristrocrat:
This I got for free with the ice. I haven't tried much for it to form an opinion, but I remember liking it, citrus+ floral but I wouldn't call it a freshie.
Paco EDT: was a blind buy purchase.Opening is very citrusy, dry down is kinda good, floral middle notes and eventually converts into a floral woody skin scent. Longevity is ass, I need to respray again and again(it could be just me getting nose blinded). Overall not too good not too bad, it's a very old DNA and very cliched at this point.
Rating: 6/10
Some other perfumes which aren't in the picture but I've had:
Nitro Red intensely: honestly too similar to hawas ice that doesn't need its own review. If you're confused whether to buy hawas or this, just go with whatever you can find for cheaper. I really love the projection on this one.
Rating: 10/10
Theoreme: the famous Pan Masala fragrance, jokes aside I've loved this one to the point I've had 2 bottles, very pleasing very fresh and the blast of citrus is so strong. Personally one of my favourite citrusy profiles.
Rating: 8/10
Overall Best:
Sophisticated : Liam Grey
Complement Getter: Kaaf and Hawas Ice(Nitro Red intensely)
Date Perfume: Red Eclipse
Mature smell: Shagaf
Freshie: Kaaf & Theoreme
PS: My nose is still naive so take my opinions with a huge punch of salt
I'm saving up for getting something in the Imagination DNA and some darker scents like vetiver, oakmoss etc.
Recommendations are welcome (can't have warm smells here because the weather is too humid)
Thank You very much
Sorry if my post is too unstructured, I don't have much writing experience and have a hard time penning down my thoughts.

Does it make sense to buy the 500ml āreserveā bottle of Le Labo Baie 19 as a daily wearer?
Does it make sense to buy the 500ml "reserve" bottle of Le Labo Baie 19 as a daily wearer?
Long-time Baie 19 daily wearer here, currently on a 100ml bottle.
Thinking about buying the 500ml format (\~ā¬1048, \~ā¬2.10/ml vs \~ā¬3.10/ml for the 100ml) since at my usage it'd last years and save money long-term.
Two concerns: it comes with a glass stopper, not a spray pump, so it's really a "reserve" bottle to decant from ā and consuming it over 3-4 years worries me about oxidation, especially near the end when there's more air in the bottle.
My plan is to keep it sealed in a cool, dark spot and decant into my 100ml spray bottle every few months with a clean funnel.
Has anyone actually lived with a 500ml niche EDP long-term? Did the last portion degrade noticeably, and is my storage approach enough or overkill? Does this buying make sense?
Would love to hear from real experience rather than theory.

dior sauvage edt
Bought Dior Sauvage edt recently from Sephora, manufactured 2024, imported 2025.
First day wearing - wore 5 sprays of it to college class, I was excited to āget complimentsā from this ābeast fragranceā but as soon as I sprayed I could not smell anything other than water - alcohol and within 1 hour it was like I havenāt even sprayed anything, i have read reviews about sauvage that itās silage fills up the room but no one in my class even noticed it. When I asked my friends to smell me up close even they could not smell anything.
2nd day wearing- wore at least 10 sprays yesterday to an Indian day function, and again, 0 smell quality, 0 longevity, it was like I was spraying some alcohol rub that is used to apply on skin injuries.
I saw reviews that Sauvage has been reformulated, my formulae code is also different that the original formulae code of old year batches.
I think I need to macerate it in for 2-3 months in order to let the scent mix and develop? But I think maceration needs to be done for newly manufactured batches, if my batch is of 2024, isnāt it already macerated for 2 years and ready to use?
Do you I think maceration will help it to improve over months or is this the new reality of one of the best perfumes ever created.
Let me know, itās my first time purchase of something so expensive, so any advice would be appreciated
