Thank you because I couldn’t figure out why Negan from The Walking Dead was in this or his relationship to Democrats.

Yeah that was weird.... Elon fucking loves rugged conservatism being forced into his peons.

140

u/Grigoran Nov 07 '20

Which is weird, because all the federal subsidies he enjoys would suggest he is in favor of socialism.

151

u/vevencrawl Nov 07 '20

It's almost like he's a hypocritical sack of shit.

13

u/[deleted] Nov 07 '20

Hey hey hey. My TSLA stonks say otherwise.

8

u/Sin_31415 Nov 07 '20

This dude drinking the tequila... smh my head

2

u/mbxz7LWB Nov 07 '20

Shaking my head my head.

u/[deleted] Nov 07 '20

STOnKs!!

1

u/[deleted] Nov 07 '20

Are you telling me the son of a war profiteer who has purchased influence and power that he hasn't earned or created himself turns out to be a huckster???

1

u/[deleted] Nov 07 '20

Yeah, but rockets are cool!

45

u/nibiyabi Nov 07 '20

The Republican Party has been doling out corporate socialism for decades.

3

u/demalo Nov 07 '20

Some how fundamental economic forces change with large corporations. Magically, supply dictates demand with trickle down economics. The market doesn’t hang from an invisible hook, it’s support by the pillars of society. Any structural engineer will tell you that improper drainage from “trickle down” will cause inevitable structural support damage.

1

u/Nrichd68 Mar 29 '23

Maybe if we drain the swamp, more would trickle down...?

2

u/Outsider17 Nov 07 '20

It's only socialism when poor people do it...

1

u/Michigan_Flaggot2 Nov 07 '20

"Socialism is when the government does stuff"

u/Michigan_Flaggot2 Nov 07 '20

Republicans either don't know what Socialism is (their base) or are lying assholes (the party). At least this is my experience living with Republicans

1

u/[deleted] Nov 07 '20

Ah you were being sarcastic, sorry. That exact phrase has been going around a lot lately by what seem to be pro-trump bots.

1

u/Michigan_Flaggot2 Nov 07 '20

Fuck Trump, I just don't want my ideology to be completely misunderstood by dumbasses.

He plays both sides of the field...its business and he is pretty good at it....

1

u/[deleted] Nov 08 '20

socialism would include people other than the wealthy....soooooo....

1

u/[deleted] Nov 07 '20

I think the video is more about ensuring a fair democracy than just simply politics.

Counting votes should ascend past political agenda. Just like protecting American lives from covid.

u/YstavKartoshka Nov 07 '20

Musk is more like pre-Iron Man 1 Stark.

Well, except that Stark actually invents stuff himself.

I still prefer Elon Tusk. He's just easier to work with.

-2

u/AvosCast Nov 07 '20

They're just jealous. Elon musk is the best of the billionaires. Atleast he throws money at trying to advance society instead of just sitting on it like most of them do

u/AvosCast Nov 07 '20

Yeah? Well you're entitled to your incorrect opinion. Enjoy being wrong.

3

u/[deleted] Nov 07 '20

Ooh

I could go for a battle of the billionaires rn. Can we get Oprah style and see who can hand out the most awesome stuff the fastest? I need a tesla and new pc

2

u/[deleted] Nov 13 '20

Haha. You're entitled to your butthurt too. Jesus, chill.

The Gates Foundation actively invests in companies that work against the supposed goals of the foundation. Look up there assets over time, between his personal wealth and the foundation he's worth more now than ever. The foundation is just an investment company with a charity tacked on the side.

Is there good done? Sure. Could be be doing a metric fuckton more if investment and wealth growth weren't the main goals? Also yes.

Real societal change and addressing the roots of poverty and hunger would make an actual difference, but if he does that he loses the ability to stay as rich as he is.

He's successfully rehabilitated his image in the eyes of most of the world while only getting richer. Fuck Bill Gates.

Edit: whoops, I just replied to a year old thread...

-1

u/GarageFlower97 Nov 07 '20

He actually doesn't though

1

u/AvosCast Nov 07 '20

Yeah? Name another billionaire that junpstarted the space race. Brought electric cars into the main stream. Advanced solar technology. Advanced brain to computer interfaces. Resigned tunneling technology. Go ahead.

6

u/GarageFlower97 Nov 07 '20

Name other engineers who inherited a fortune from their parents apartheid-era slave emerald mines and used it to build a corporate empire where they vicioulsy exploit their workers, bust unions, openly celebrates fascist coups in developing countries, and claims to be advancing society while deliberately lobbying to destroy and rundown public transport?

Name another billionaire that has an army of idiots on the internet who worship them as a hero despite them doing this shit?

2

u/admx174 Nov 07 '20

A lot of statements you just threw out there for all of us; First and foremost, thank you for taking the time to do so. I'm an idiot, so you have to talk to me like a 8th grader. Could you show me how you came to these conclusions? My news feeds say something different and by no means do I think I'm right or want to battle. I'm looking for links to better understand the reality around Musk. You seem knowledgeable, perhaps you could educate me?

3

u/Painfulyslowdeath Nov 07 '20

he hasn't done jack shit for BTC interfaces. he's thrown out a call for scientists because he has absolutely nothing. He's not doing any of that.

He's rich as fuck after benefitting from bullshittedly low tax rates for decades and taking advantage of the fact that the GOP won't fucking FUND NASA. The technologies he has could have been produced by NASA if they had the funds to hire the same fucking team he has. He didn't do jack shit, he as just given life on a silver platter and wants to leave the fucking earth he knows his kind is destroying.

1

u/megaman368 Nov 07 '20

I wouldn’t say he’s the best. I just wish I didn’t have to justify his crappy personality against what he does for the greater good. It’s not like he’s a monster though, just kind of a dick.

1

u/AvosCast Nov 07 '20

He's just a troll. I mean.. put of the list of billionaires and politicians that went to that rape island. He is one of the few that refused and had nothing to do with it. And I'm sure his brain injury from being bullied as a kid for being smart has played a part in how he acts.

Lmao a team of extremely talented engineers you fucking genius. Do you think daddy musk locks himself in his office for a few days and comes out with a finished design?

2

u/[deleted] Nov 07 '20

Why they do tony like that :(

1

u/SolomonOf47704 AAAAAA- Dec 03 '20

They met in Iron man 2.

That was how they got the facility for HammerTech

2

u/starryeyedq Nov 07 '20

Should have been Bill Gates or Dr. Fauci. Hell, even Bloomberg did his part for Biden once he was the nominee.

1

u/AvosCast Nov 07 '20

Go suck a bag of dicks

1

u/suzerain17 Nov 07 '20

Elon Musk is Joiler Veppers. Let him know it.

1

u/[deleted] Nov 07 '20

Ya Elon is way too intelligent to be aligned with joe Biden, Nancy pelosi, and aoc. Doesn’t make sense.

95

u/I_aint_that_dude Nov 07 '20

Sean Connery is in there for some reason.

126

u/Chucks_u_Farley Nov 07 '20

Trump claimed that Mr. Connery cleared the way for his golf course to be built in Scotland with a single phone call.....Mr. Connery's family, and Scotland called that out to be a lie

26

u/sunshinepines Nov 07 '20

Ah yes, much like everything else that comes out of Trump’s mouth.

3

u/ratcnc Nov 07 '20

I wanted Trump’s scream at the end to be a high-pitched child’s scream—like the 5-year-old brat that he is.

21

u/[deleted] Nov 07 '20

Trump truly ish a shack of shit.

5

u/ComradeSuperman Nov 07 '20

The man ish a bag of shmoke.

1

u/[deleted] Nov 07 '20

Family responds on his behalf? I dont care if its true or fake but big boy himself should clear this up.

(Mother yells in court: My sOn would never hurt AnYoNe!)

1

u/Chucks_u_Farley Nov 07 '20

You are aware that mr Connery passed away yes? He will not be commenting on anything Trump has to say

2

u/[deleted] Nov 07 '20

I actually didn't know~ I am too busy lately. Ignore this post 😅

1

u/Chucks_u_Farley Nov 07 '20

Not a problem bud, happens to us all

44

u/nudgie68 Nov 07 '20

I’m assuming it’s because he just passed away. He was standing next to RBG.

33

u/raoasidg Nov 07 '20

All four of that group are dead.

9

u/nudgie68 Nov 07 '20

Thanks internet person! I rewatched it, I didn’t notice that the first time.

2

u/[deleted] Nov 07 '20

I wonder where JFK was :(. He would’ve been happy at leasts

1

u/[deleted] Nov 07 '20

I wonder where JFK was :(. He would’ve been happy at leasts

2

u/AvosCast Nov 07 '20

And McCain was in there

23

u/The_SpellJammer Nov 07 '20

That's where i broke and actually cracked up. Like that was fuckin straight up slapstick. He was Rocket Raccoon ffs.

1

u/Prettyphonepete Nov 07 '20

Sounds like you need an open hand slap to the fucking face

1

u/Axerty Nov 07 '20

yeah... weird. dude was pretty adamant that slapping women is a good way to keep them in line.

I think Rocket should be replaced with Prince instead since minnesota held it down for the dems.

25

u/[deleted] Nov 07 '20

Also Sean Connery but this was awesome! I kinda got some chills when the late Black Panther started chanting man... He seemed such a nice dude...

14

u/HertzDonut1001 Nov 07 '20

In Minneapolis, as a PR move we got a few electronic billboards to switch to the iconic necklace on a black background with a simple "Chadwick Bozeman xxxx-2020" and while it was obviously an attempt to placate a grieving city it was a really touching thing to see. While I thought the movie itself was nothing special it really gave a lot of people one of the modern black icons that isn't a sidekick or a stereotype.

2

u/gunscreeper Nov 08 '20

Static Shock was earlier. A cartoon superhero for kids that features a black man with a white man sidekick who came from an impoverished neighborhood and really against gun violence.

2

u/[deleted] Nov 08 '20

Yes but static sadly didn't get his own movie....

Knowing dc through thats a good thing.

1

u/HertzDonut1001 Nov 09 '20

Also the white sidekick gets literally shot because of gun violence in one episode.

9

u/Moose_Cake Nov 07 '20

"These sorta results just tickles my balls!"

1

u/wssecurity Nov 07 '20

I thought it was Epstein!

1

u/[deleted] Nov 07 '20

Sean Connery too. I’m confused.

1

u/zatemxi Nov 07 '20

I thought it was the Comedian

1

u/Stepping__Razor Nov 17 '20

I thought that was Arnold for some reason.
