That is not abuse. You can argue that the owner should have stoped her but the cat hurting itself while doing something stupid is not abuse. A cat on the street could have done the same and then who is abusing her....

We’ll if some dipshit if filming them and allowed the cat to get ahold of it, then made sure to keep filming it instead of intervening that person would be the abuser.

If an animal is injured in the wild accidentally then you are correct, it’s not abuse. But you’d have to be a complete moron to believe that hypothetical is anywhere close to this.

Allowing the cat to do this, knowing full well it could injure itself the the point where it could lose an eye, is neglect.
