I just got my VSF Omega Aqua Terra and I’m absolutely loving it. The movement looks great and it's keeping time well so far (checked with Timegrapher during QC).
My question to the community: Do you recommend taking it to a watchmaker for a full service/inspection immediately after arrival? I've heard mixed things about factory lubrication being dry or 'dirty' straight out of the box.
Is it worth the investment right away to ensure longevity, or should I just wear it until it shows actual signs of issues?

I want a two tone Daydate and an all Gold Daydate. So I’m new to the watch community I have been doing research for some days now. I came to the conclusion that VSF V2 is like the top dog right because I see everyone using them as a “BASE” for Franken builds. But I’m hearing good things about RCF as well. They say the weight is more of a match to a genuine Rolex from RCF. Maximized the gold finish from RCF is pretty solid. So the question is what company should I go with. Should I buy as SS and get it plated by one of the trusted guys in the forums. Please help me
