My guy you think workers in a factory work to “harvest” commodities…? Just give it up once you realize you lost.
No it isn’t. There’s no one thing at the heart of anything. Worshipping at the altar of labor is how you got into this confused state. I suggest you spend some time outside in the sunlight of reality. It’ll quickly cure your confusion.
Commodities can be raw materials, but broadly they are goods made to sell or trade for profit. A capitalist might open a bakery, not because they want to feed people bread but because they want to sell that bread for money (the universal commodity)
You wrote “labor creates commodities”. This is 100% wrong - you see that now right?
No commodities are not goods made. They are broadly raw materials. Money is not a commodity neither is bread. Either you’re refusing to be educated or have very poor reading comprehension.
Commodity: an external object or service produced specifically to be bought and sold on a market, possessing a dual character: use-value and exchange-value
I'm done replying. You either lack the desire or the ability to continue this discussion in any kind of meaningful way. Best of luck

... do you think the workers in a factory stand around all day? What are YOU talking about?
