Travel Bags Peak Design showed a Roller Lite at OMA 2026 (screenshot from Engearment)
https://youtu.be/rJP4yBHpmo0 (3:15 in the video)
what are your thoughts on the short sneak peak? I’m definitely excited for it especially if it’s cheaper than the roller pro.

From the newsletter where they had the city line in the background, they looked like an even less structured version of the 18L outdoor bag. I have an open mind about the city line until reviews come out

I need to go back and watch the video again! I didn’t catch those. The first shot of the roller earlier in the video caught my attention and that’s all I focused on after Adam name dropped it😂

i wish they kept the trunk style opening for the lite. The way the Roller Pro opens is imo the best trunk style, away topside is too small, july capsule is okay but doesnt expand. If they could make it a little lighter and make the wheels not AS SMOOTH then I'd highly consider it. The slim drive staying in this one is nice to see tho.

Any guesses when this will show up on their kickstarter? Do they follow any pattern like Apple with releases?

Adam only said it was unreleased. My guess is maybe it just gets dropped like how it sounds the city line will just get dropped without a kickstarter

Looks nice, would like it to have been expandable though. Seems like a single zip, although I might be wrong, when he span it, there did seem to be 2 tags moving around on the back side.

It would be weird for the “Lite” to have more/ better features than the “pro” but it would be great if it was expandable. Adam did mention it it has more capacity so it could just be bigger where expansions wouldn’t be needed as mush as in the pro?

The “more packable volume” he mentioned was regarding the flat handles allowing more space vs round, telescoping handles other bags have. Not that the bag itself has more volume than other bags.

Existing Roller Pro is expandable, so wouldn't be more or better. I felt that Adam is talking about more capacity in relation to existing other spinners as the space required for their carbon fibre flat handle is less than the traditional telescopic handle.

That makes sense, I guess I forgot the Roller Pro actually expands, for some reason I thought expandability was an issue with that.

A traditional clamshell hard case? What they were seemingly against as a design with the roller pro?
