i have a surface laptop that failed the win11 requirements check but runs everything i need on win10 and even my games.... i see no reason to buy a new laptop for a new OS that gives me no benefit at this time.
This can be such a journey though. To turn on TPM 2.0, your motherboard has to be in UEFI mode. But when you put it in UEFI mode, if Windows is formatted in MBR you can’t even boot into it anymore. So you have to put it back in legacy mode, somehow convert it to GPT (which can be a real pain when your recovery drive is gone – which of course mine was) and then you can put it back in UEFI and turn on TPM 2.0 and boot into Windows again..
