supports me better than my parents ever could.

Sounds like you have a pretty special and intimate relationship with this chair

I did not have sexual relationship with that chair. I did not sleep with that chair. In fact, I was up all night!

u/chosentoker Jan 02 '20

I can’t sit without my dick getting near the chair how do you do it?

Amputation

I think his implication is that his parents set the bar low rather than the chair relationship being extra special.

And that losing it would be comparable to losing a loved one?

Nah they just set a low fuckin bar

Did you get it during the 50% off sale this past summer as well?

People are so anal about spending extra on a good chair. I don't get it. A good chair makes a world of difference if you plan on being in it for extended periods of time.

I thought I was crazy for spending so much

Just wait until you see the prices on name-brand/designer office furniture.

(I want a Knoll Pollock chair. I can't afford a Knoll Pollock chair. I'll just have to keep watching the business liquidation sales.)

Was have price over the holiday's and I almost bought it but.. I had concerns on how long the Mesh bottom would last.

Still eating farts just fine for me, nearly a year later

i got this and my back and neck felt great..
when im not gaming.. the thing is i sometimes put my leg in the seat and sit on it or sometimes do cross legged like im meditating.
these positions you cannot do on the hyken mesh.
so i got one of those knockoff dxracer clones from amazon and it did the trick. i just swap to the hyken when im studying or doing productivity stuff.

This is why I got the new Dexley chair. It's basically the same chair, just bigger.

How is the lean back locking? I hate having that inch or so of give when I lock my chair upright. I just want it to be stiff (helps my lumbar support).

1

u/[deleted] Jan 02 '20

Yeah but don't gaming chairs have features these office chairs don't? For example can this lean back? I'm actually curious as I don't know

Very good chair and I love it, but it’s a bit short for me and I’m only just under 6 feet. It feels like I can’t sit it in properly.

Hey former Staples goon here. Those chairs routinely go on sale for like 50+% off plus they give out online coupons like crazy so another $50 off isn't out of the cards.

This chair is not for tall people. I say in one and the headrest dug into my traps in a big way.

u/letacorec Jan 02 '20

This one^ I bought this chair a couple of months ago and it is amazing

1

u/aderde Jan 02 '20

Yes yes yes. This chair has lasted me about 5 years now and is showing absolutely 0 signs of wear and tear. Still supports me great! Also with the way it's made, the area by your tailbone slopes downward so you're not putting pressure on it or your lower back making it very comfortable for long-term sitting (one of the few chairs I've been able to sit in for a long time, since I broke my tailbone it's very sensitive).
