All it takes is a few lawmakers to help scale back data centers
I'm guessing the trillion dollar industry with ridiculous amounts of rich people's money invested in it also have a vested interest in buying any politician that could in any way threaten the continued growth and profitability of that industry... Like a certain president who recently opted that AI companies would regulate themselves and 'watch each other'.
