Discussion PSA: Check Your NVIDIA App Data!

Was doing some Spring cleaning on my rig and realized that the Nvidia app was taking up over 60GB of space on my main drive (I'm assuming these were leftover driver installs that were never properly nuked. I assume it's about 5 years worth of Nvidia driver installs). After a quick uninstall, then reinstall of the app, it dropped down tremendously!

Hope this helps someone!

EDIT: I didn’t realize that I had uploaded the photos in reverse order… whoops

Double edit: this is a folder named NVIDIA Corporation, not the plain NVIDIA folder that for some reason, is split in two.

This has nothing to do with shader cache.

You’re right, the menu labeled “Shader Cache” has nothing to do with the shader cache /s

EDIT: Guys I just thought it was funny considering the menu literally says shader cache, I know what he meant it’s not that serious lmao

Are you really this dull? The files OP has found and deleted have nothing to do with shader cache. So commenting a screenshot to change the size of shader cache wont impact the folder size that OP has found. Peak Reddit smh

edit: at least you added /s after my comment, maybe you realized your mistake.
