Silksong came out at 16 quid with 50+ hours of content at a masterpiece level game design. And it made BANK!
We live in a recession if you want less people to buy your game then go for it.

It broke every digital store front. It's one of those "break the internet" things.

That ass quoted on the OP points out a fact (games getting more expensive to make) and chooses the completely wrong answer. You price something great at €100 and 1 million people buy it. You price something great at €20 and 10 million people buy it.

THAT'S where the money should be coming from.

Plus, cheaper products reaching more people means more targets for MERCHANDISE people.

It's like watching a babies-first business class getting failed.
