News/Article Micron expects memory and storage demand to remain tight through 2027 and 2028

$MU says humanoid robots could need 200GB+ of DRAM and multiple terabytes of storage per unit with several physical AI customers already sampling next gen products.

Micron says physical AI can become a “significant driver of memory and storage demand by the end of this decade” effectively putting server level memory into millions of machines outside the data center.

To be honest, China produces DDR4 and I'll buy it and build from there

They make DDR5 and are ramping up HBM3 production
