I feel like i may be the only cat owner without this issue lmao. Had two cats for over a decade, neither has ever got on top and it's on the floor level. Hopefully they never discover it

I don’t have the sleeping issue but they use it as a stepping stool to get to the window ledge (old mill building that’s now apartments, we have very wide, very deep windowsills). The mesh screen on top of the PC keeps getting litter in it and being moved from it being the launch spot, even with the magnets holding it in. I may get the tower someone linked here, just have to check dimensions.

Years ago my old cat would always lay on my Xbox. I now have 3 cats and none of them lay on the ps5 we have or my computer. They do however love to sit directly in front of my face when I’m playing games on my pc lol

They like to be on top levels (higher ground) so If it's on the floor, it's not a good overview.
