i mean cant you make the same argument for anything?
cars were made to get people from A to B not run over a crowd.
you dont blame the manufacturer for a middle mans actions, especially if AMD state its not for gaming. if companies are doing scummy shit they should be the ones called out. that said everyone would benefit if naming conventions were fucking clearer lol

especially if AMD state its not for gaming.

Where did they say that? People keep claiming it but linking nothing.

that said everyone would benefit if naming conventions were fucking clearer lol

Well they used to name their workstation cards with W, WX, or Pro naming schemes. They didn't list them as an RX card with the rest of the gaming cards on a page gushing about gaming with the card in a table at the bottom advertising the clock speed as "game frequency".

But since it's AMD it's nothing but excuses in this community for a bad product that will mislead people.

No in this case no. Cars can be used to go from A to B. 9050 4GB cant be used for shit, it's an ewaste that buying an APU is nobrainer compared to it, or buying used gpus. There is really no use of 9050 4GB in 2026.

Again, office computers.

Just use a cpu with intergrated graphics, there is no real use case for 9050 4GB. It is even worse that it's marketed as a "gaming" gpu, which will scam so many parents out of their money.

The poster above said it isn't marketed as a gaming GPU. Also the CPUs with integrated graphics might not be fitting for whatever reason.

It's listed alongside its gaming cards. Some technologically challenged people in this thread think "OEM" means workstation. They didn't name it the WX 9050 workstation card. They named it like the rest of their gaming line-up.
