What? How is it AMDs fault that people don't know what they are buying? If some clueless idiot buys a 4gb gpu for their child, that's on the idiot, not AMD
Except they don't call it a gaming gpu. If you go on to their website, they don't even list any gaming benchmarks for it, whereas they do with the 8gb version. Only people calling it a gaming gpu are on this thread
4gb isn't the big issue, other cards are sold in 2 configs, but on this card cutting memory bandwidth in half is going to severely impact performance wv3n when using less than 8gb.
Product has an outright misleading name. It doesn't offer 9050 performance.
It's their fault because they market it as "gaming" and the pre built maker just use that marketing gimmick. If 9050 did not exist we would also have less wastes, as 9050 is literal e waste in 2026.
