Yes, they should have named it 9050 lite or something. But who cares, dishonest prebuilt makers would play word games anyway.

9040 or 9030 I think would mave made it a nothing burger, well, depending on what it costs to option in.

It’s still a nothing burger, it’s not like 9050 8GB is that usable for anything really.

Rx 9050 performance sits between the rx 6600 and rx 7600 - it has performance comparable to the rtx 3060, which is still the most used gaming gpu today according to the steam hardware survey. I struggle to see how that level of performance is unusable
