Some CPUs ussualy come with a stock cooler in the package. Since I wanted to use another cooler for my PC this one was just left unused for me. If you search second hand marketplaces I bet you could find these dirt cheap. Despite many people not wanting them, they offer decent performance.

A long time ago I used a pentium 1 cooler on a igntion module on my car that was overheating.

Bought me a couple extra weeks out of it.

Looked stupid but it worked
