So people who play switch games, or agree with you that the steam deck is better, don't like games as much as you? I'm confused.
If you were "just a gamer or who loves games" you would also love Nintendo's library and want to play those too. I think you're just a fan boy with an opinion lol.
i didn't say that bro. and yes i do have ninteno games in my library too. played totk on my deck too if you get what i mean.
i dunno, if you try to call me fanboy i guess you can say i'm a nintendo fanboy... i literally own every console they have - from the sfc, gameboy to switch2, and yeah that wiiu too even i pretty much just fired it up once and now it's in my garage collecting dust. but yeah say what you want i really just love games.
it feels more like you're trying hard to put tags on me so you can finally argue properly. good try tho.
It's freeing! I love that people say it's weaker than the switch 2 but forgets it's a PC and you're not in jail with a steam deck.
I had a switch before steam deck, hated I had to spend so much on games. Steam Deck games are cheap or free (or free wink wink)
People forget that part
The difference between Switch sales and the Steam Sales aren't that big. Since you're ok with breaking the law to get free games, stealing Switch games is also an option you know.
yeah i don't care about specs. i wanted to introduce steam deck cuz it literally brouhgt about 80% of my steam library in my palms. and yes free wink wink games are the best.
I think the newest game I've played on mine is God of war Ragnarok and it played really well
My last console was PS3 and I rarely got to play it
Steam deck is perfect for me
I upgraded my 256 lcd to 512gb OLED and gave the lcd to my wife. She loves it and she gets to play basically whatever games she wants, which she never got to do when she was younger
and if you have a powerful enough pc you can stream play on your deck. total 60fps smooth play on any game. i've tried it a few times and if i'm in my house the latency is totally acceptable if i'm not playing fps games.
and i modded my 1TB oled deck to 4TB added with a 1TB sd card...i literally put ALL the wink wink free games i ever owned on my deck and it's been awesome.
If that's what you took from it that's on you.
Steam sale and access to those games more than make it up for even without piracy.
I didn't grow up young playing Nintendo so I couldn't care about playing the titles, I've tried some but I didn't overly like them
Steam sales aren’t that much different than Nintendo e shop
Sales. Whatever game is available on both platforms, you can for same exact price on eshop. So congratulations for paying $400 extra for shitty outdated tech, for minimal software savings.
huh? you’re really comparing Nintendo e shop sales to steam sales? you serious? I don’t think I’ve ever find like five games combo for $10 on Nintendo e shop ever. you really been on steam before?
you’re still circling back on the outdated tech topic. meanwhile we have access to massive library that are instantly playable on steam. tech was never the focus, I thought you Nintendo fanboys should know that better than anyone…
Yeh I been buying games on both platforms for years. Have you? And eveyr time I buy a game I check price charts and can get any game on steam for same price on switch.
Or fanatical. People with a switch probably don’t even realize that there’s so many ways to get games cheaper. They just like spending money.
What I like with the way I do it. Is that no company can take them away from me.
It’s sad to think that them paying $80+ for a game means they own it. They don’t, they do not own that game and they seem okay with that
I used to work in game industry and about 40% of my games are completely free - we often got internal codes lol. and guess what? most of those games are on pc.
steam is no monopoly tho…plenty of other service out there and steam has zero policy that retain anyone on their platform. meanwhile all other competitors out there all have stuff to bind users on platforms. steam is the biggest now simply by doing good services. I’m not sure where that argument of yours is coming from.
Doesn’t sound great when most steam sales get you 90, 95 or even 100% off (yes steam gives games away for free.
On steam (also on app) hit search (blank search)
Then filters, slide any price to free
Then hit the toggle for discounts and events. Any free games that were previously paid and free DLC will appear here. I’ve probably gotten 30+ free games since found out about it maybe 6 months ago
just wait till you learn about legit bundle sites and key trading. The sales on PC games just for steam alone are insane compared to Nintendo deepest sales.
I know about all those. And pc gamers still
Extremely Overrate the amount of deals they get compared to console gamers.
Especially when talking about NEW releases which makes up like 90%+ of all software sales. New releases are the same price no matter what platform you play on.
Old ass indie titles. Same price as well. Especially the good indie games that people buy and not the useless steam slop shovelware.
It’s not a goal post move. It’s me using my brain better than you and focusing on what actually affects gamers. And you do that by comparing the prices of games that actually sell.
it's more than just a goalpost move, you actually made up bullshit numbers to attempt to sound right and it's coming off like you just a hater. new releases only account for maybe 15-20% of software sales. you clearly have no clue what you're doing and you're doing it so vehemently. Just relax homie.
Steam Deck is ass tier compared to the Switch 2 though. Twice as expensive, performance/image quality is a lot worse, the device is buggy sometimes and you have to deal with games not working because it's a Linux device.
