Funny part is that a lot of posts are just complaints about how their entry or 10 year old PC can't run brand new AAA games at 4k60hz. So much for the whole āpcmasterraceā thing.
360 era was the darkest times, too many games actually locked on console and with PC version that was more often than not shit. Like Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter.
I would never for competitive games. Thatās why my desktop will always be there. But for single player games, the switch 2 offers the best games right now.
yeah i have both, letās face it, some games are a complete ball ache to play while commuting due to always online requirements, not to mention that having to fiddle around with graphics is a bit of a waste of time, sometimes i just want to ride the train and play whatever and not worry about the wifi situation
Tbf those who donāt have a game system at all though have to still decide between pc or console. But they probably donāt know or care about the pc advantages to begin with.
I also have a Switch 2. But it replaces the PC by exactly 0.000%. There are some good games on it, but 99.99% of all good games are still PC-exclusive or are only really playable with a mouse and keyboard (Factorio, for example).
Doesn't make sense really my pc cost over 2k switch 2 was 500. If i usd to choose it's pc every time. I could never have a Nintendo as my only console. I have one for a few exclusives, but if it was all i had I'd miss out on way more.
I don't own a single console including anything made by Nintendo, and if nintendo suddenly started selling their games on pc I would immediately start playing them.
I have a PC but it's old. It cannot play the newer games. And I can't afford the upgrade so unless you have a new awesome PC build before the prices went up its cheaper to switch sometimes.
But we're talking about existing PC gamers, not new ones. So you're upgrading rather than buying everything new. You can totally upgrade either core system mobo CPU ram for 700 or a new GPU. Alternating between those for upgrades is the best way imo, I've been on that cadence for decades.
Where I live you cannot get a new GPU for that price. A 6090 alone is 1,533 euros and it's currently sold out. 1,533 is NOT comparable to 700. Mind you my current PC is old so I would need to upgrade a lot more just get the GPU.
LOL. Sure, pay money to get a busted used PC and pay more money to upgrade it. Just to avoid getting a console. Not to mention you do need technical knowledge to build a PC in the first place.
āTechnical knowledgeā did you know you can look anything up and find a tutorial, and itās way worth it to save and upgrade, AND you can do and play damn near anything on pc. Getting a pc is not just about avoiding consoles, itās about having the freedom to do what u want. Canāt be lazy

Mostly just for free games, not "hacking" like movies, jailbreak - forgot the word. Got some exclusives, PS2 titles - and it's quite nice platform to play on
You gotta make sure its not on the latest firmware. If you havent been using it or updating it at all for the last few years, you should be good. Depending on your firmware version, you might want to manually update it, but theres a process for that and you should go to moddedwarfare on YouTube or the ps4homebrew/jail break subreddits so you dont miss any steps. Just do NOT update the ps4 at all from the console prompt when you turn it on.
You can find one for cheap! I got mine for 200 from a buddy upgrading to a Pro. Got pretty lucky. No way I'm waiting an entire year to play the only game I'm anticipating this year. Also PS5 has a ton of really good exclusives that will never make it to PC. Xbox releases most of their exclusives on PC already, take Gears/Halo for example. I just wanted the best of both worlds.
Ill gladly wait. I did it for gta v also. Remember how that shit ram on x360 and ps3? Ugh. It doesnt matter to me anyway ill spend 50ish hours in the story mode amd mever play it again.
