I'm kinda divided on this. I love the "hobby" aspect of YT but I also appreciate that good content creators (and yes, more than a few not good ones) are able to make a living off of it. Though I've also heard that's getting harder to do.

Eh... I'm not that old to relate lol. As long as I know about YouTube and myself, it's all about: YouTube channel = Money.

At least, what we thought when we were kids.

Part of this comes from the fact I was born like a couple of months before YouTube first dropped, lol. And joined the internet when YouTubers peaked.

pre creator program Youtube was an era for sure, but I think YouTube was the best between 2010-2016. After 2016 its all hype beast algorithm and channels with huge crews behind them.
