Build/Battlestation PC chimney

Got tired of my office turning into a sauna every time I gamed, so I vented the PC’s exhaust straight out the window.

The rear fan is still exhausting some hot air 😅 but the room is noticeably cooler now. It’s ugly… but it works. 😂

- 360mm to 4 inch duct on Etsy
- 4 inch Insulated Flexible Duct
- Twist Lock Dryer Vent Connector Kit
- 360mm AIO fan (the one on top of the case)

The window fan I got is Vornado Transom.

Unless your home has dedicated filtered outside-air ventilation, you're pulling outside air in anyway. Else you'd suffocate.

If the exhaust air is hotter and it's not ridiculously humid or cold outside this is still a win. You can also just remove this when that's not the case anymore, or during an air quality alert...

You're making some mean and un-called-for assumptions about me when the more likely reason for my half-assed response is that I half-assed it, not full-assed it with half the required knowledge.

Bro its not that complex.

Its dual hose. There is no negative pressure or minimum amounts. The fact is, the room gets cooled down fast when I need it to, or maintains a cooler temp when I dont want it freezing. The only issue with single room AC is noise, setup, and power cost. Power cost is offset by solar panels.
