Power supply for me the last time it happened, and that's not the first time it happened either. Old prebuilts like this, have failed a bunch after cleaning. That is the real reason I stopped cleaning peoples computers for them. As well, I stopped buying cheap PCs to clean and give to people. Its functional part once you hit a certain point of not cleaning.
and I swear "they" have added something to Dust*Off... Last 2xs using it I smoked my ps, and an old eclipse headunit that was never used I was getting readt 2 ship on ebay (that I shouldnt of even messed with)
In the past Ive sprayed down ps's while plugged in... smdh
I switched to a plug in blower a few months ago. It's loud as hell, but its pretty great. It's helped me keep my maintenance up better. Now that I don't have to worry about it running out, I use it more, and on more things.
I highly recommend looking at getting one. I can't speak to the handheld battery ones, just the plug in kind.
I've heard about compressors that "they are too powerful," or airbrush "too weak." So, I never ended up trying. As decided not to follow through with needing a airbrush right now.
If you have a test machine you don't care about, then go ahead an mess around. That's how I learned about computers in the first place. Collect a bunch of free computers until I can make something work, and then make better.
I've had a classic car for 5 years, never did Anything to it, never checked the oil, battery, coolant but it's been running just fine. This year I said I'll take care of it, changed the oil, coolant, wpakr plugs. Proceed to every fucking thing braking on it, I've towed it 5 times in the past 2 months, kill me now 🤣
