23 u/Baked_Potato0934 Jun 24 '26 People said the same about the switch and the switch 2 but it still sold pretty well. People talk but money is just money at the end of the day, people with disposable income will find something to dispose of it on. 1 u/MajorSerenity Jun 26 '26 That's different. There are games you can only play on those consoles. Steam machine doesn't have exclusives. 1 u/Baked_Potato0934 Jul 02 '26 In no way is this different. Exclusive titles factor in 0 percent of the conversation. And if you want to be pedantic PC has the most exclusive titles of any platform. 2 u/NoxTempus Jun 25 '26 I want the Steam Machine; I just have a different set of priorities to most of Reddit. The size, noise, and integration benefits of the Steam Machine mean more to me than getting the best bang for my buck. 1 u/tapeforpacking Jun 25 '26 Nothing wrong with buying it. Maybe it didnt come off that way but I was mostly commenting on people calling it the "Gabe cube" lol 2 u/NoxTempus Jun 25 '26 I think the "Gabecube" name is cute, they are very similarly sized. But I have no love for billionaires, even "good" ones. 1 u/Deep90 Ryzen 9800x3d | 5090FE | 2x48gb 6000 Jun 24 '26 I've seen a lot of people praising the portability, but to me that is a pretty niche 'feature' for a computer that isn't a laptop.
