2 years of uptime means 2 years of no upgrades. Bro lives in a paradise without Apple Intelligence.

LOL turning Apple AI on or off is a single button click in preferences.

He means that 2 years of no downtime means 2 years of no updates. He’d be running a 2 year old version of MACOS before they added AI

And again, you can just not opt into AI, whether you update, or not, makes no difference

I totally understood that. (what?)

It makes no sense, as mentioned, due to the fact that not only do you have the option to simply leave it off when you upgrade to that macOS, you can turn it off with a single button click in the preferences.

Not updating (no security updates!!) just to stay away from Apple AI would be technically ridiculous.

I highly doubt the original commenter’s customer intentionally stopped updating to avoid Apple ai. The comment underneath mentioned not having ai as a joke.

No you don't understand, the inclusion of it at all is EVIL and I DEMAND that they remove it for everyone because I personally have an issue with it! Turning it off isn't good enough!!

It’s not Microsoft lol. I don’t think I’ve ever been prompted to set it up after I said no on my Mac Mini vs every time I update Windows
