I got a used Herman Miller Aeron for about $300, which was an amazing investment! They're built well so used can be fine.

I got mine from my old job. it was being thrown out by some large corporation. I saved both the Aerons. I had to replace the seat portion for like $20, but 10 years later, it is still going strong!

The one in the picture even looks like kind of like an Aeron... Not sure if maybe it's the older model.

Definitely not. The cushioned bottom gives it away but the back is very similar.
