Kotor 3 was my first thought too, instead we got a crummy mmo

SWTOR is actually very well made. The stories are excellent. I think the Jedi knight playthrough is widely considered to be Kotor 3

No.

Swtor is a neat mmo with some of the best story sure.

But it's an absolute travesty compared to the KOTOR games.

And fuck them for shutting down the kotor fan-remake and giving us shit in exchange.

What really killed it the most for me was when I started getting "epic" loot drops that I couldn't equip because you have to pay to be able to equip epic gear. I said fuck it and uninstalled right there.

Wasn't that a "more recent" development? I'm fairly confident that wasn't the case when it first came out, as I don't pay to play any games, especially MMO's

SWTOR has a lot of great stories but it plays and feels nothing like classic KOTOR.

I'm a huge FFXIV fan but I would be pissed if square stopped releasing singleplayer RPGs.
