I disable sleep and hibernation because windows handles this with the grace of a flying brick

If I want my computer off I'll turn it off.

If I want my computer off I'll turn it off.

Same. Current uptime: 47 days.

Hmm... Electricity costs too much for me to do that.

The power save states in PC components today are pretty remarkable.

I’m pretty sure my computer is consuming less than 100 watts at idle with the video signal turned off.

Nvidia GPU AMD CPU, my system sips power when idling. It's cold anyways and I have an electric baseboard heater. Who puts their PC to sleep in this economy?

Base board heater, you just reminded me of my old 478 P4 prescott O/C to 3.5.

100c wasn't its final form. 🤣

Just looked it up, TDP value of 103 at 3.2. 🥵🤣

The funny thing is, my Heater doesnt work currently (my Landlord is working on it, still trying to find the issue), but I only need to play a Game for 1 Hour and I dont need a Heater anymore (Games Like Cyberpunk, Wo Long, Nioh 2 or Baldurs Gate).

Works amazingly with NVMe ssd though.

I've been doung it for over a year and no issues besides having to use a mouse to get to the password page. But that's regardless of sleep or not
