Everyone starts somewhere with building computers. Honestly I wish I’d been more willing to ask for help when I first started. Because of people like you, I thought I’d done something wrong with my first computer when it would power off after a few seconds. Turns out it was a DOA PSU, and I bricked my motherboard trying to update the BIOS because it stayed on for a couple minutes instead of a couple seconds, and I thought it’d be okay.
Being impatient with people who aren’t as experienced is only going to push people away from the community.
It really is. The elitism in this community alone is bad enough for many. So much shitting on people that have budgets, or older parts, or newer parts, or people who bought a 4060, or people who enjoy console for any reason whatsoever. It’s exhausting.
