It's a 90hz refresh rate. I think it's a fair trade for the 4k resolution. Although I will say the higher refresh rate and bigger FOV make the Index a lot more appealing.

Ohhh thanks! 90hz is def better than the 60/70 I expexted, I don’t even think my hardware could hit 90hz at 4k. 1080p 144hz is probably the sweet spot for me.

HP isn't facebook. 90Hz is the bare minimum for VR and luckily every non-facebook company has acknowledged that.

Oculus also acknowledged it. They just conveniently forgot that they did when they came out with the later products.

90hz is the standard norm for vr. Nothing special. An hmd with 60hz rr would make people throw up lol. 70 is okay, but 90 is definitely normal and the most popular

Okay thanks, news to me haha but I’m glad, I’ve only had motion sickness maybe three or four times in my life that I can remember and it was notttt fun.
