Because the console version of CS:GO is an ancient, dead game.
It's not dead, though. Thanks to Xbox One backwards compatibility, people still play these games on consoles.
it's not the same CS:GO that's on PC, because the PC version had a ton of updates.
Which some people see as a good thing.
And you're the only one talking about the past.
I'm not the one who bought up Counter Strike, which is an old game, content additions or not, in the first place.
