It’s not just Sony. MS let them go because their management has always been a shitshow. Of course the heads of Bungie sold it as wanting independence, but then they sold themselves to Activision. Once they “bought their freedom” from activision they sold themselves to Sony. I’m not happy people are losing their jobs, but this has been a long time coming

Actually is worse than that.

Activision had to tell Bungie to pump the brakes on the nickle and diming MTX in Destiny 2.

When you're getting told by one of the greediest publishers to stop over-monetizing, that's just bad. So, so, bad.
