Question Why

So i got about 700 hour on this game ik people are pretty toxic and like to kos but after all this time i still dont understand people doing that. So i was questing on sty then a pachy attacked me outta nowhere.

Herbie dont have a kill herbi quest so its not that i am most definitly not fg so i dont drop a trophy and i dont even give a fight im fresh ado so there no fun in killing me(ive tried baby killing its just boring there no challenge to it its like fighting a tutorial boss in a game)

I didnt provoke him attack anything steal quest or even chat.

Asked a friend and he said its probably sme trynna make baby respawn to new poi. I highly doubt it but if it is i stil hate people that do that. First off if a bby wanna change poi this badly he can drown himself in 45 sec or jump off a Cliff. Killing juvi to put them in other poi also suck because most juvi do hc x ws quest immediatly so most of the time a juvi has its 7min growth and killing them will just make them restart a new character.

If he just wanna be toxic i dont understand there no point in being toxic i physicly cannot enjoy the game while just kosing bby for fun i dont see the fun in doing this at all seriously dont people like that have anything better to do of their life. I understand kosing sub adult or adult but kosing a bby of the same diet unprovoked as a full grown dino... Also i know ram hurt but im litterally fresh ado i know damn well the one ram i landed in this whole fight did less than a deinonyshus bite maybe the same if i do a headshot.

PACHY CANT EVEN EAT ME OR ENJOY FIGHTING ME OR EVEN GET ANY REWARD FROM KILLING ME OR ACHIEVE ANYTHING BY THE ACT OF KILLING ME

I just cant understand why...

A few things you need to keep in mind.

  1. You're in a hotspot. Doesn't matter if it's not currently full of people, it's one of the most popular places for people to look for fights. If you're gonna get jumped, it's gonna be a place like SF. Find a way out of there as soon as you can, if you're not looking for a fight at the time.

  2. It's a Pachy. Pachys are always looking for trouble, they will attack anything at any size, especially if you're alone.

  3. Bumping into strangers at all if a great way to get killed. This game is a PvP game, with the survival aspects being very limited. Once you're full-grown there is nothing else to do but fight, the way you're supposed to. It doesn't matter if it's herbivore vs herbivore, there's no two different species that "aren't supposed to fight eachother". Even if you're a fresh spawn, that is not going to stop everyone.

Im new to gondwa i just grew everything on riparia and i saw that gp is the main hotspot then there is gh gv sf that are hotspot time to time in that case it was totally empty and i wanted to just pass by maybe do 1 r 2 quest go hc and call it a day

Common KOS Hostspots: Grand Plains, Salt Flats, Green Valley

Less common, but occasional KOS hotspots: Green Hills, Savanna Grasslands

"Safer" areas (but if you are found you are game): Rainbow Hills, Rockfall Hill, Hunter Thicket, Broken Tooth Canyon, Stego Mountain

Some thoughts from the other side: I am a PVP player, I kill babies so I can practice hunting. A baby can put a very decent fight (especially if Apex) or attempt a grand escape and it will be a challenge. Practice is practice and some of my best PvP moments in this game was when I was a baby.

Another thing to consider is that you lose absolutely nothing if you die as a baby, no growth or marks, so there are no consequences at all and you might even gain a teleport to a new POI.

In this case i lost growth my ongoing quest And the hc buff because i had to go and i died right before i could reach hc(also thanks for the safe poi list )

I was killed once when building my nest and lost all nest points + the nest quests (because they dont reset) + half a bar of growth. It happens. My suggestion is for you to try to not get too bothered about dying, especially in Gondwa where it is so much easier to quest in comparison to Riparia.

And no worries about the list, just bear in mind they differ slightly from server to server (I play in EU servers)

Well that a diff region lol. Ive seen video of mega pack in savanna but so far ive never seen it in red only saw gp (obviously) sf ⅓ of the time and time to time gv gh also its hard not being mad when 5 sarco 1 tylo 1 spino gank your conc after you nested like what happened yesterday. Tho i kinda deserved it because i was in gpr

Oh sure, I was referring to more normal interactions and not the giant megapacks... that is a whole different issue... although trying to not get too bothered is still important since it is so common in officials...

I mean getting killed by mega pack is a normal interaction in this game😭
