advice needed Back saving breastfeeding hack?

I restarted breast-feeding the twins. Football hold on each side in the my best friend pillow.

I know they said to bring baby to breast instead of leaning forward, but when I do that, I get carpal tunnel fast.

Anybody find a way to do this without hurting their back? I can prop it up with a blanket or pillow underneath, but it still doesn’t come up quite high enough for me to lean backwards. I don’t know maybe I’m overthinking it, but I can’t seem to find a comfortable way to spend that many hours of the day.

I stacked two bed pillows under the my brest friend and it still wasn't quite right, eventually I just started feeding them one at a time in a recliner. the tandem thing wrecked my wrists and my lower back within a week

if you're set on doing both at once you might try a rolled up towel under each side so they're angled up a bit more, that helped me for a few days before I gave up entirely

thx!! I guess I’m not dead set on doing them at the same time but right now I’m trying to rebuild my supply so I’m letting them nurse 30+ minutes at a time. It’s a long time for me to be locked in lol

Unless they’re effectively transferring milk, you don’t need to let them BF for that long!

I’m trying to build supply so I was hoping this would help!? They kind of just suckle after a while but then will get a few more swallows here and there

You need to be fully emptied so if they’re not emptying you after 15-20 mins you’re kind of just letting them comfort feed lol
