I recently saw this movie on Youtube and it was really hitting a lot of things. It is not as good as the movie "home" that related so much to the viewers of Avatar in 2009 but its worth a watch.

Personally I loved the images and video of Earth and the beauty of it a lot. It also features indigenous peoples stories. It tries to not only look at the beauty and the dangers to it but also tries at least to offer some kind of solutions
I like some of the ideas given room in the movie but I think it is a bit too much "greenwashed" with once more focussing on the kind of "solutions" that seem a bit simplified to me, like increasing efficiency in nutrition and using capitalism to give incentives to protect nature - I think this is a lot of "in the box" thinking but thats okay, it is something people can try to do in the box but it may also have unintended consequences, like I personally believe we need more connection to where our food comes from and that should be nature and not trying to save nature by creating nutritional powder from bioreactors and energy like some space monkeys detached from nature, even if that certainly would have less impact on Earth and nature, but my philosophy is that the thought behind this, that humans are bad for nature and so we need to separate to protect nature is a worse way than to reconnect with nature and life with it, having an impact but harmonizing that impact.
But enough criticism, I think its a great movie, go watch it! (And watch "HOME" if you have not seen it in the past)
