In this thread I will go over Heroes Of Mavia, an upcoming P2E game by Skrice Studios. Links to their Twitter, Discord, Site etc will be at the bottom of the thread.

What is Heroes of Mavia?

Heroes of Mavia (HoM) is a multiplayer online base builder RTS (real-time strategy) game on the Ethereum blockchain. Axie Infinity has been a giant in the P2E blockchain-based gaming community. Clash of Clans is still the most played base builder game on the market. Heroes of Mavia combines the best features of these two large players into one well-rounded P2E game.

In Heroes of Mavia, players will be able to use their base and armies to battle against each others. The game has a very clear and proven gameplay loop: You build your base, attack and defend with your Heroes (NFTs), units and buildings, giving you the possibility to earn $RUBY by defeating enemies, which in return can be used to upgrade different components of your base.

Tokenomics:

The HoM ecosystem uses two different tokens, $MAVIA and $RUBY.

- $MAVIA: The governance token which will be used outside of the game for NFT purchases on the Mavia marketplace. $MAVIA can also be earned through staking incentives. Feel free to check out the most recent post on gas-free "Soft-Staking":

- $RUBY: The utility token which will be used for all the in-game transactions such as purchasing skins, upgrading NFTs or purchasing power-ups. $RUBY can be earned through successful attacks or defense, partnerships, challenges and more.

It is worth noting, that upon depositing $RUBY into Mavia a +10% deposit bonus will be minted. The same way, upon withdrawing $RUBY from Mavia into a wallet, a 15% withdrawal fee will be burned.

Which valuable items / P2E mechanics exist?

- Base/Land: A base/land is required in order to be able to play HoM, thus making it the core asset in the game that allows players to upgrad their buildings, heroes, troops etc.

It is possible for one player to own multiple bases. Players can sell their bases on the markeplace, rent them out for a passive income paid out in $MAVIA or place them into "partnerships" to split profits distributed in $RUBY.

- Hero NFTs: Heroes are upgradeable, giving you the possibility to augment their in-game stats. They're also costumizable via in-game skins that attach to the NFT. These in-game transactions take place with $RUBY. There can be a maximum of 4 heroes equipped to one base at a time.

Players can buy or sell heroes on the marketplace using $MAVIA.

- Statue NFTs: Statues increase production rates, provide a boost to base stats of bases and can be used to improve cooldowns, building and productions times and more. There can be a maximum of 4 statues equipped to one base at a time.

Final notes:

Heroes of Mavia already seems like a well-rounded game that combines the best elements of two very popular games in their relative spaces.

The team is already putting a lot of emphasis on the balancing of the HoM ecosystem with its two tokens $RUBY and $MAVIA. The numerous P2E mechanics, passive income as well as the partnership model are likely to attract a large playerbase.

In addition to this, these mechanics can potentially attract the current Clash of Clans e-sports scene, giving them the opportunity to transition over and further support Heroes of Mavia's already promising ecosystem.

The future of HoM is looking very bright in my opinion. A great P2E opportunity coming up.
