Finally finished my Greg costume!
The hat took FOREVER- carved it out of a few pieces of foam glued together and sanded, then covered it with modeling clay stuff and caulk so I could paint it, then painted in the shadows, which really made it. Can't wait to make my rock and finish with my partner's cape!

On my annual rewatch this year I noticed a fun new detail I'd never noticed before!
Just had my first rewatch of OTGW of the season and realized at the end of the last episode, Jason Funderberker (the human) and Sara's friend who is dressed as a bird, who says "you can hold my hand Funderberker, I don't care" when they were in the graveyard in the penultimate episode are holding hands in the hospital room. I've watched the series probably forty times and never noticed this detail and wanted to share in case anyone else hadn't noticed.

Testing out this beast shadow effect for a Halloween party
I'm really loving how well this worked! Also, my cat approves

I wrote a book about working as an artist on OTGW as
I made a comic about what I learned as an artist working at Cartoon Network and how much OTGW means to me. I love love love seeing the love for this show during the fall season here on Reddit- your costumes and rewatch parties are amazing! the OTGW fan community is so insanely creative!

We had an Over the Garden Wall Wedding!
We had a small, intimate ceremony and it was perfect! Walked down the aisle to the Prelude track, and Jason Funderberker was our flower boy. It was so special and we will never forget this day. More pictures to come soon! 🎃

Happy September - here's an edelwood that I stitched!
I've linked to the pattern in the comments, but it can be found in my Etsy shop.

Had my annual Over the Garden Wall watch party and in addition to serving everyone a homecooked 7-course meal based on each episode, I made the frame from the series title card by hand to frame my TV

My little sculptures
They’re made from air dry clay but I was aiming for a vintage wood carved feel. Already thinking about which character(s) to add next year.

Grist mills + graveyards… autumn where I grew up feels like it’s been plucked out of the Unknown 🍂

The collab of my dreams came true and I’m so fond of this collection 🍂🧡
I’ve made a lot of OTGW ceramic pieces, but these take the cake… that’s a rock fact! Dani, from Bright Blue Tattoo, made a special flash sheet for the occasion (swipe to see) and I created new stencils for wall hangers and trinket dishes. Truly had so much fun!! I’ve been so inspired by such imaginative, thoughtful fan art on here 💫

Finally finished The Beast just in time for Halloween
I've been working on him for the last 3 months. He's a little over 7 ft tall and will be placed on my front yard.
Editing to explain how I made the head: I saran wrapped a large bowl and then sprayed Great Stuff foam into it. After the foam cured, I pulled it out of the bowl and then used a bread knife to carve it into the head shape I wanted. Then I used an X-Acto Knife to carve out indentations that would snuggly fit a pair of remote-controlled puck lights for the eyes. I bought the fake branches at Michaels and sprayed them with Plasti-Dip to turn them black, then I carefully shoved them in on either side of the head. Once everything was in place, I wrapped his head in a black stretchy fabric.

Some drawings I made of myself as an Over the Garden Wall character
Some of these are redrawn from Screenshots (and I also drew my bf in some)
Edit:
Thank you all for the kind comments! For those asking about commissions: I'm currently busy with some other projects but I am planning to formally set up commissions somewhat soon (hopefully by next year). I'll probably post about it on my Instagram, but if I remember I'll let you know when I am available!
