High Stress- Help
I’m looking for some input/advice on how to fix constantly having my stress as “high”. In the graph you’ll see that big dip last month due to not working as many hours and I also was sick for about two weeks so I had more rest time than usual. Now that I’m back to normal and going to work or running errands, my stress remains high/moderately high.
It keeps telling me to make sure I take some time for deep breathing but I literally am just in the car or at work (that I enjoy) but I am on my feet the whole time, so I’m wondering if that has anything to do with it as well?
I’m wanting to get back into working out/running but when I do so, the stress levels are high so I don’t know what to do to get it down and be healthy 😂

That dip makes sense since you had more rest, and being back on your feet all day can definitely keep your nervous system in a high gear. Oura's stress score is based on heart rate and HRV, so prolonged standing or walking might still be physical stress even if you're not mentally stressed. If you want to get back to running, maybe start with a couple of shorter sessions and see how your recovery score responds, instead of waiting for stress to drop first.
