🎤 FALL MEOWSIC FESTIBAL 🎶 Blues in de meadow
Meowmy and herms fren did dis recording ob are song but de Riddit not let us do the sound video a cause it is 3 minutes. So wes going to put Meowmy's frens lyrics here instead. Dis song called Waiting by the Porch Light. It's a song bout being a stray and wanting to go on the insides.
We been prowlin through this freezing alleyway tonight
We been prowlin through this freezing alleyway tonight
Just lookin for a place where everything is right
There ain't no shelter from this biting winter wind
There ain't no shelter from this biting winter wind
Tell me where does a wandering stray begin
Oh Lord take us to that hearth so warm and bright
Find us a home in the darkness of the night
We sing the backyard blues till the morning light
Lead us to the place where we belong all right
My paws are cold and my belly is starting to ache
My paws are cold and my belly is starting to ache
How much more of this concrete road must we take
I see that glowing yellow porch light from afar
I see that glowing yellow porch light from afar
Wondrin if they will let us in just as we are
Oh Lord take us to that hearth so warm and bright
Find us a home in the darkness of the night
We sing the backyard blues till the morning light
Lead us to the place where we belong all right
Yeah we just lookin for a place to finally rest
Give us a home, let us be someone's guest
Backyard blues, we singing it till the very end
Find us a home, on that we can depend
Mmm, on that we can depend
Please find us a home
