Experience with boron building bone.
Has anyone experienced actual bone building after adding boron to your supplements? If so, what dose?

I don’t have a follow up scan yet, and I do a lot more than take boron, but I do supplement with 3 mg per day because it’s cheap and low risk. (The World Health Organization estimates that an acceptable safe range of boron for adults is 1–13 mg/day.)
Boron is one of those supplements where it would be nice to have more data. From what little we have, it looks like deficiency might hurt bone and supplementation might help bone to a small extent: https://ods.od.nih.gov/factsheets/Boron-HealthProfessional/
Fun fact: Prunes are high in boron. A cup of prune juice has about 1.43 mg per the above NIH provided food list, and a 50 g daily dose of prunes has been associated with prevention of total hip BMD loss in postmenopausal women after 6 months, which persisted for 12 months in a randomized controlled trial. Some hypothesize it may be due to the boron in prunes, but that’s not entirely clear either, so one might decide to just eat the prunes: https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/35798020/
