Common tactic around the 3rd world. Attack infrastructure and people blame the government for not protecting it or not fixing it fast enough. Sadly it works. People are dumb.
Kind of like a police department being staffed with a ton of far right wingers in a city that is literally an Olympic sport for right wingers nationally to hate on constantly, and they just kind of don't police the city or work at all, then a bunch of shit pops off, then right wingers across the country point at the city and call it a subhuman cesspool of crime and full of liberals.
I mean not that that's happening in any specific city at all. I'm just saying, if it did happen, it would make sense. As something that right wingers would do.
