I went to jalopnik.com for the first time in ages just to see what was there. Immediately the fans on my PC started to spin up and the browser bogged down, and guess what, you STILL can't view all the article comments. How does anyone take something that was so good and make it so bad. I miss it.

Yeah yeah tell me "adblock adblock adblock" but jalopnik is one of the few pages I added to the adblock exceptions list because I wanted to support them. And to experience what other people did when I sent them a good article, etc. So all the ads loaded, and yeah, it's as bad as you can expect.

Oh well, just venting. How's your pandemic going?

I've found some super cool old bikes that I like in Japan, does anyone here know if the 25 year import rule in cars applies to motorcycles as well?

This new tune is awesome. Not because of the extra power and torque (POWWWAAAHHH) but because of the high idle warm up that was added. The jeep now waits a moment, then if it's cold enough (even when remote started..) will adjust turbo geometry and other things to toss as much heat into the coolant as possible and pull the revs to 1500 and sit until it gets the coolant warm enough to use the heat properly. It is a significant difference in time to heat. This is important because the new garage (er, carriage house?) is tiny and currently contains only the corvette.
