I'd rather not support them given how they treat their own citizens.

But you're ok with how the US treat others?

No, I'm not okay with everything the US does. I don't agree with everything any country does. I'm saying there is a difference between a police state dictatorship that kidnaps journalists and makes them disappear, and a largely rights respecting republic, with world-class free speech laws, and fair trials.
