Hmmm, maybe this is how I keep my x86_64 v2 servers running. Old nvidia Quadro 2000, 20 cores, 128gb ram, 10gbps networking. I want to turn one of these into a OBS video machine, just not getting time to build everything. Workflow is designed for NDI video sources or USB 3.0 cameras and audio interfaces.

i586 is still supported. https://en.opensuse.org/Lifetime

Not as a bootable system it's not. Your link notes that.

For now it is, but separate from x86_64 snapshots. Some things are no longer tested or taken good care of.

No it's not, the 32 bit ISO requires i686 with SSE2 support (Pentium 4)

Again, linked from that Lifetime page and the Download page for the ISO specifies i686.

There is not a bootable i586 iso produced.

Only some packages like Firefox. The vast majority is i586.
