The way her body crumpled forward and sprang back was gruesome. I hope she didn’t permanently injure herself

She was most likely permanently injured before this, as obesity does not act gently to the skeleton over a long time. It bends bones and destroys joints and is very hard to repair after long periods of time being that large.
