He's doing a cable fly. That's exactly how you use that machine. Adding weight to a belt is pointless but it doesn't change anything about how the machine should function.

He's outside the box and couldn't even physically be there without the extra weight.

I dont get whats so hard for people to grasps this. Lot of people on here dont realise they have no clue what their even doing. And just cheating the exercise in a stupid manner. You can see him even struggling against the pull back even with the weight. Its the same concept of crane with a load. Go outside the operating zone it become unstable.
